League of Women Voters schedules
three forums ahead of Aug. 4 election
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The League of Women Voters of Clark County has scheduled three candidate forums ahead of the Aug. 4 primary election.
The forums will feature candidates for state House, Clark County Council, Clark County auditor, Clark County clerk and the Public Utility Commission.

July 2, 5-7:30 p.m.
Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, 901 C St.
• Clark County Councilor, District 1
• Clark County Councilor, District 2
• Clark Public Utilities Commissioner, District 3
July 3, 5-6:30 p.m.
Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, 901 C St.
• Legislative District 17, State Representative, Position 1
• Legislative District 49, State Representative, Position 1
July 12, 2-3:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the forums in person or to watch them on government access channel CVTV or cvtv.org.
The nonpartisan League of Women Voters was founded by leaders of the women’s suffrage movement in 1920; for 106 years, the League has worked to empower voters and defend democracy.
