League of Women Voters workshop addresses public comment

The League of Women Voters of Clark County will host a virtual workshop on giving public testimony from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 25. The workshop will provide information on how to effectively provide public comment or testimony on the issues residents are passionate about.
Whether at city or county council meetings, school board meetings, legislative committee hearings or before any other policymaking body, public speaking can be difficult for many. The workshop will help residents learn to speak effectively and make the most of the time allotted.
