Fourth candidate forum added
to League of Women Voters’ schedule
VANCOUVER, Wash. – A fourth candidate forum, featuring Battle Ground and Hockinson races, has been added by the League of Women Voters of Clark County.
The new forum will be from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue, 21609 NE 72nd Ave. in Battle Ground.
Candidates for Battle Ground City Council, Battle Ground School District and Hockinson School District will participate.
The public is invited to attend the forums in person or to watch them on government access channel CVTV or cvtv.org.
The nonpartisan League of Women Voters was founded by leaders of the women’s suffrage movement in 1920; for 105 years, the League has worked to empower voters and defend democracy.
Here are details of the four forums. Note that the Washougal City Council race has been deleted from the Sept. 6 forum because one of the candidates will not attend.
